Hello,

I'm Carter Lawson, a technical writer, graphic designer, and web developer based in Toronto. I specialize in creating clear and accessible content for technical documentation and creative campaigns.

After graduating from the University of Toronto with a B.A. in English, I spent 6 years as a creative in the real estate and asset management sector. Working in a fast-paced, highly regulated industry that deals with a lot of technical information, I quickly learned the importance of creating effective resources that empower clients and improve business relationships.

In 2018 I returned to U of T for the SCS Full Stack Web Development program to enhance my digital skill set. Most recently, I've been learning best practices for API documentation, and have started pursuing projects in new fields over at SUPERMAPLE systems.

Personally, I'm passionate about exploring new technologies and hands-on learning! I'm always fascinated by the ways we can make our information clearer and increase engagement. And in my off time, I'm a bit of a VR enthusiast.
